The Pirates 4th Salty Ball, Manchester, Ct, March 1, 2014, 6-10PM

March 1, 2014
6:00 pmto10:00 pm

Ah, The Salty Ball, now in it’s fourth year, is the kick off for The Brigands concert season, and a welcome respite from winter’s doldrums. This charity event, to benefit the Testicular Cancer Society,  is one of the truely great pirate events in New England, and is The Brigands only appearance in New England.   The Salty Ball affords us the opporunity to perform all of our ‘blue’  material and not get chastized by anyone!  The event is $15.00 per person, with light snacks served. It is a BYOB ( or BYORum) party, with door prizes and a few items to be put up at auction.   The Baymont has a block of rooms for the pirates attending The 4th Salty Ball, at $60 er room, a great price.   Our aim for 2014 is to take over the entire Inn.   SO put the date on yer 2014 calendar.   Save The Organ !   Website for the Baymont Inn is:

Come and share this week of piratey godness with The Brigands and many of the pirate crews from Florida, Georgia, and the Eastern seaboard.  Ft Taylor is a historic landmark and the Festival is held right in the middle of the fort.   From the Pirate Ball  to the Booty Auction to the battle re-creations, Ft Tayor is a Pirate Festival for pirates, put on by pirates.   Camping is allowed, in period camping gear, and there are lots of accomodations for those who do not want to rough it.   One of our favorite Festivals all year long, Ft Taylor is the culmination to The Brigands concert season for 2013. Tybee Island Pirate Festival, Oct 10, 11,12 and 13, Tybee Island , Ga

October 10, 2013toOctober 13, 2013

Once again, The Brigands will invade Georgia.  The Tybee Island Pirate Festival, a grand celebration of all things pirate, is hosting The Brigands to give the Festival a true taste of pirate music.  Yes, even though we are banned from Georgia, The Brigands will be sneaking into town, blowing the doors off the festival and hopefully avoiding the constables.  Look for us performing along side Mr Shooter Jennings ( son of Waylan) and other notables all day Sat and Sun.  Website  http://tybeepiratefest.com/ .   Our only performance in Georgia this year, and a good thing as wanted men don’t usually tempt fate like this.
