Hear ye all pirates, scallywags, free men of the Sea,  privateers and sea rats:  The Brigands, by the grace of His Majesty, the King of Spain, are permitted once again to enter the port of St. Augustine, Fl, to perform at the St. Augustine Pirate Gathering. Provided we can find our Letter of Marque.   The Brigands will provide their unique music for the Fri night Pirates Ball ( NOT family show), and  all day Sat and Sun, at one of the best Pirate events in the US today. Set in the oldest city in the country,  presided over by an actual memeber of the Spanish Royal family,  the St. Augustine Pirate Gathering is one event not to miss. 

A ticketed event – Pirate Ball is seperate and includes food, drink and music.    Sat & Sun – $2.00, adult and children

One would not think an aquarium would be an appropriate place for a pirate festival, but Lo !  The NY Aquarium, one of the most sophisticated aquatic facilities in the world,  will be hosting the “Ascarium” a combination Pirate Festival and Halloween celebration!  The Brigands are elated to be appearing all three weekends, working with the NY Wildlife Conservation Society, the hosts,  to present period pirate musiic and entertainment, with a truely scary twist.   To mark the occasion, the Aquarium will be opening it’s new exhibit, Sunken Treasure, a great look at a reef with a sunken ship, pirate captain, treasure.. well you get the idea.   The Brigands will bring their well known  Family show to the event;  see exotic dancers, attend Pirate School and participate in activities for adults and children alike.

The Brigands are pleased to announce our appearance at the Tybee Island Pirate Festival, bringing authentic pirate music to the Festival, for the first time. A huge event, where the entire island goes pirate crazy, The Brigands will be performing Fri night and all day Sat and Sun.  With activities for all ages, adults, children and scallywags,  the Tybee Island Pirate Festival marks The Brigands return to Georgia, a place where we had been banned ( not our fault – well mostly not our fault!).   A free event for the Family.

Marcus Hook, Pa, was home for a brief time to Blackbeard, most notorious of pirates.  The Brigands are proud to be appearing Sat Sept 15,  at the Pirate Festival that bears the name of this town.   Two shows 11-1  and 4-6pm, this is a free event.  Come and enjoy The Brigands in a concert setting, in the beautiful park at the foot of Market Street.   Period vendors and pirate encampment.   Muskets and cannon.   Swords and boots.  And The Brigands !
