Privateer Day, 11AM to 6PM, we will be performing 3 sets and doing a black powder cannon demonstration at the Stone Quay. A free event, come and enjoy yourself with The Brigands, along with lots of vendors and childrens activities. Fells Point was an actual pirate hot spot during the Golden Age and many of the buildings and suroundings remain intact from then. Many was the ships cargo what was disposed of dockside in the Point. Come on over, as we work the ship, Hellion and exercise the great guns.

At roughly 6 PM, the Pyrate Invasion will commence, an adult drinking tour of the finest of pubs in Fells Point. Help take over Fells Point in a real sailormans night out, with The Brigands, some of the crew from the Grave Dancer and lots n lots of pyrates!

This Faire is sponsored by The Queens Gally , a food awareness organization in Kingston, NY. Set in the 1600's, it's a great backdrop for some piratical music and the sound o' cannon. This will be a 'sticker' weekend ( a free Brigands sticker with each CD purchase). A part of all CD sales for the weekend will be donated back to The Queeens Galley. .

This will be our fifth year at Blackbeard, an we holds it dear to our person. This free event has some of the best entertainment and re-enactment you will ever have the pleasure of seeing. The event is sponsored by the Virginia Air and Space Museum, which is right next door to the festival site. This years festival promises to be bigger and better then ever before!

Long Island Pirate Festival
June 14 & 15, Long Island Maritime Museum

At last, a Pirate Festival in our own waters! Ths first annual event is a benefit for the Long Island Maritime Museum, and will be held on the Museums seaside grounds. Come and celebrate Long Islands rich maritime history and pirate background! We are proud to be involved with this event, whch was organized by Ye Pirate Brotherhood http://yepyratebrotherhood.org
There will be music ( of course), sword play, cannon fire, battles of wit and cunning, food and drink, and pirates from up and down the East Coast.

Catskill Mtn Renaissance Faire

Snuggled way up in the Catskill mountains, this Faire will resound with music from the decks and foc's'le of Hellion, as The Brigands make our first appearence there. Fairies, knaves, Ladies and wenches will rub shoulders with the likes of Mr Cannon and Kevin, the Irish pirate!

Down East Pirate Days
Down East Pirate Days - at Harbor Park in Rockland, Maine - Aug 23 & 24 - The coast of Maine was a favorite place of some pirates and privateers to wood and water while the 'authorities' were interested in them.
Join The Brigands at this event and witness one of the few true land/ sea battles on the East Coast. We'll be attacking this year! Bigger and better this year, the festivities will include an evening "Bawdy Show" , more vendors, more cannons! For our Northernmost fans, it will be your first taste of Mr. McQueen's lovely ballads, like "Mariners' Revenge" and "Rummer the Rumrunner", songs from our latest CD "Pirate Scum", and period music played as only The Brigands can.

Hear The Brigands sing and play songs from the focs'le of Hellion and fire the great guns from the earthworks of the fort. Last year, we got return fire from some of the near by islands in the Bay.
The Connecticut Renaissance Faire
If you live in the North East, you owe it to yourself to visit CTRF in 2008. Voted Best Faire in 2006 and 2007 by the NE Rennies, the new grounds in Hebron CT and the total enthusiasim of the cast, merchants and performers made the 2007 season a record breaker. Join The Brigands for some Piratical fun in 2008 as we work the ship, Hellion; exercise the guns and play music from the foc'sle and quarterdeck.
