Due to budget constraints, weather, poor attendance and a new direction this Faire is headed in, The Brigands will not return to the Connecticut Renaissance Faire for 2010. 

Brian Harvard has told me that they are condensing the Faire, eliminating almost all pirate and other non-Arturian influences, with the total elimination of anything to do with pirates in 2011, so it is doubtful that we will return.  

To all of our friends and fans at the CTRF, we will be rescheduling new venues for the timeframe, so be sure to check our calendar.   Unfortunately CTRF was our venue in the Ct and Mass area, so if anyone was planning on getting our latest CD, “Inner Buccaneer”, you'll have to order it here, onlne.

The Brigands cut our teeth, so to speak, at CTRF and have made many close friends over our 6 year run of the Faire.  We are very sorry that Management of CTRF has seen fit to cut what we believe to be one of the most popular and certainly truely unique acts, but we wish them success in thier new direction.
