The whole town of Rockhall Maryland goes pirate crazy this weekend! We mean it. Shops, houses, statues, street lamps and even dogs get the pirate treatment for the Rockhall Pirate and Wenches Fantasy Weekend.  Alll day Sat and Sunday, this FREE event is something to see.

Music from The Brigands, re-enactors from all over the East coast, live cannon demonstrations, sword fights, even a Dingy Race and a Saturday Night Pirate Bash,  Rockhall is a great way to get into and celebrate all things pirate.  Some are family oriented, some not so much, but all in good fun. We hope to see all of our Mid-Atlantic fans and friends for this great weekend.

In home waters, The Brigands will be performing at the Long Island Pirate Festival once again.  The L.I.Maritime Museum  is one of the nicest sites for a pirate festival – right on the water,  adjacent to the famous Museum, this family event is the perfect all day event to spend with fellow NY pirates.

Music by The Brigands, re-enactments by Ye Pyrate brotherhood, live cannon demonstrations, treasure hunts for the kids,  piratey type foods, and free entrance to the LI Maritime Museum.

Well you may have seen The Brigands at pirate festivals, maritime sings, buccaneer bashes up and down the East coast and danced your hearts out.

But this is an opportunity to sitdown, and really listen to one of the top pirate bands in the USA.  We’ll be in our home waters for this, at the Northport Village beach facility on the north shore of Long Island.  A free event sponsored by the Village of Northport, in their Concert  by the Sea series and we are really pleased to be performing at it.   Seating is limited at this outdoor event, so bring a beach chair or blanket.

Hear The Brigands do not only their regular pirate show, but select songs  and tunes from the  many sessions at Lower Deck Studios.  And did I mention that it is a free concert?  We hope to see all of our local Long Island friends for this unique show.

This is it, the one, the biggest , the best. If you are any kind of pirate, you owe t to yourself to come to the Blackbeard Festival, in Hampton Va this year.

This FREE family event is the biggest pirate festival on the East coast, and possibly in the USA.  The Brigands have performed at Blackbeard for over 14 years, and it was the very first pirate event we played at. From world class pirate re-enactors,  fireworks, tall ships, sea battles, sword fights, authentic pirate vendors, to a  whole  camp devoted to childrens activities and shows,  Blackbeard will make a pirate out o’  ye for sure.

Ahoy there Bucanneers,  and any other piratey type people. The Bowers Beach Bash is one heck of a party, no matter who is there.  The Brigands will be performing Sat and Sun all day at this family geared event.  The FOURTH annual pirate fest!!! Fun for the whole family! New this year — a “pub crawl” – Bowers style – Friday evening. If you need an excuse to dress like a pirate, this is it!

Once again, The Brigands will storm Fells Point , MD , in a town wide celebration of all that is piratical and privateery ( my word).   Live pirates, black powder demos, kids activities, parrots,  tons of vendors and of course The Brigands, the band that started it all 12 years ago!   We’ll be on the main stage at least 3 times each day, so come on by and pick up a new copy of our latest CD, “Spanker In The Aft”.
